our creepy little alien baby makes another appearance!! her cheek is on the right side of the screen, you can make out one eye, her nose and her mouth! she's around 7lb6oz right now so she could be almost 8 or just over 7.. but at least we know she's not a complete peanut. shes head down, feet are almost straight up, which is probably why i get shooting pains in my ribs. she squirmed the whole time, shes a very active little girl!! 13 more days until the official due date, bug better get her little butt in gear soon, mommy is getting anxious!!
It's getting closer! I haven't been on facebook (gave it up for Lent) but I just wanted to check in and see how you're doing. I just updated my blog (I'm neglectful lol) and I realized I haven't checked in with you. Keep me updated :)

ReplyDeletelove the new blog layout! yeah, i'm actually not planning to do a shower (the closest everyone could meet is arkansas and i drove ten hours to have my bridal shower there and i certainly don't want to have to do that pregnant!). so we've been concentrating on getting a few things since we know the sex now but fortunately we haven't really had to purchase much yet! i'm so excited for you and i love the nickname livy! i don't know if i told you but we're thinking of going with either ava anise or ava anais. can't decide but there's still time!
ReplyDeletei loooove the name ava. peter wouldn't even consider it because of Eva Braun. hes such a geek. how do you pronounce the middle name though? yeah i cant imagine driving 10 hours while pregnant, 30 mins in a car is enough for me. im sure you'll get plenty of stuff without a shower, sounds like your family is going baby gift happy. im sure meag will do her part too.
ReplyDeleteyeah she's my little Livy which drives my mom nuts since the babys last name is Lint. but i hold my ground by saying its not her official first name its just a nickname.
i think "livy lint" is cute - it's the perfect little girl's name! :) and lol about eva braun! didn't even think about that, i was leaning more towards ava gardner! i think we've officially decided on anise as a middle name (which means i'll let you know what the real middle name will be in two week! lol). it's pronounced "uh-neese" and don't ask me why i picked it. i kept on saying ava out loud one day and suddenly said anise and told matt and he was all for it. it's been pretty funny because lately he's been whispering to my belly and giving ava kisses and every time he does she kicks him straight in the mouth - we're trying to figure out if she's "kissing" him back or needing her space like a little rebel. i have a sinking suspicion it's the latter. so tomorrow's your EDD! yay!!!
ReplyDeletehaha Liv does that when peter leans on her, she gave him a good kick one time and he wasn't even saying anything, the girl just likes her space. the name really flows well now that i know how to pronounce the middle name!! good job mamma! yeah a normal person wouldn't think of eva braun, but that was his main defense. and he said no to audrey too, the man has no love for the classics. yeah tomorrow is the EDD, maybe she'll be the rebel and actually show up then. we went in for an ultrasound on friday at the hospital cuz i was getting a little worried that lazy butt wasnt moving enough, but shes fine, and got pisssssed during the ultrasound and was moving like crazy - she doesn't like being poked. we were really hoping something would be going on and they'd be like ohh we're just gonna keep you here but noo nothing, sent me home. i've been having contractions since friday so hopefully another few days or so.
